Tricia Higgins Hurt

Tricia Higgins Hurt's jewel tones radiate and glow, and the bold richness of her nearly surrealistic landscapes have captured the interest of many local and national art aficionados.
Her first art lesson was from her great-uncle Victor Higgins, the co-founder of the world renowned Taos Society of artists, who encouraged her to create her own art.
Tricia has the distinction of having been one of the first women ever admitted to the University of Virginia, where she received her undergraduate education.
She also attended the Worcester Art Museum School in New England.
