Mary Russell
Mary Russell’s
still life paintings reflect the rich heritage of Vermeer and
the Dutch masters. Russell has been trained in the tradition
of the old master and paints her still lives on finely prepared
Gesso panels. She has studied under still life master, David
Leffel who helped prepare the foundation that has elevated her
work to recognition by Pastel Society of America and the Oil
Painters of America. Russell’s work hangs in many private collections
and Mary herself has been established as a contemporary painter.
She resides in and works out of Oklahoma. |
