Doug Hyde
| Doug Hyde has shown his work all over the world which says a lot about the pull of this artist considering he once sold works from the back of his pick-up. His training has been a marvelous mixture of formal and finding one’s own way. This no doubt has been translated to his works. Carved mostly out of stone and cast out of bronze, his pieces are bold but not overpowering, compact but intensely interesting, subtle but enriched with integrity. |
